"There were two Mr. Marshalls involved in the running of the Success Secretarial College at different times, a Mr. Ernest Marshall and a Mr. David Marshall, who were unrelated. The Saskatoon Business College and Success Business College amalgamated into the Saskatoon-Success Business College on the third floor of the Kempthorne Block. Later the school would become known as the Success Secretarial College and School of Accountancy to run in competition with Robertson Secretarial School and Scott Business College. Then later it became known as the Success Business College and finally, when purchased by Fred and Helen Chapman, it became the Saskatoon Business College, after the Garbutt chain of Success Colleges was disbanded upon Mr. Garbutt’s death."
